Lydia K. Bice McDaniel, 62 of Pikeville, Tennessee passed away Monday, February 23, 2026 at Bledsoe County Nursing Home.
She loved her family and was of the Church of God Faith. Lydia enjoyed adult coloring, working word puzzles, and playing Bingo. She loved watching wrestling and some good old westerns.
Preceding Lydia in death were her father, Lonas Edward Bice, step-dad, John Lentz; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Dora Hankins; paternal grandparents, Claude and Gladys Bice; maternal great-grandparents, Ease and Eliza Hankins, and Will and Josephine Hale; sister, Loretta Caruthers.
Lydia will be dearly missed by her son, Marty (Desta) McDaniel; mother, Betty Bice Lentz; brother, Larry Bice; step-brother, David Lentz; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be 2:00 p,m, CST Saturday, February 28, in the Pikeville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doyle Ashburn and Bro. Warren Kerley officiating. Burial will be in the McDowell Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11:00am until service time Saturday.
