A Soddy-Daisy man was killed Wednesday, August 21, in a “tragic accident” involving a hay baler, according to Bledsoe County Sheriff Jimmy Morris. Audrey’s E. Coli battle continues

Around 200 Animals rescued in cruelty case

UPDATE: Nearly 200 dogs and cats have been rescued in Bledsoe County by the Humane Society of the United States.     Kindergarten parent orientation at Pikeville Elementary is Thursday, August 1 at 6:00 p.m. A parent or representative must attend if their child is enrolled in the program. Come meet the principal an teachers, hear about expectations and routines, student phase-in schedule, required forms, plus questions and answers. It is not necessary for students to attend.
