Lucille Johnson

Lucille Johnson, 86, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Friday, January 9, 2026.

She was of the Church of God faith. She loved flowers, liked to fish, sew, and feed the wild birds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Johnson; son, Steve Johnson; parents, Doc and Pearl Prater; and brothers, Lester Carlos and Loyd Prater.

She is survived by her children, Donna (Curtis) Davis, Terry (Annette) Johnson, Sandra Johnson, Michael “Smoke” Johnson, and Anthony (Lynette) Johnson, all of Pikeville; grandchildren, Dewayne and Scottie “Doda” Kenney, Dedra, Brandon and Matthew Davis, John (Leslie) Johnson, Josh (Jessica) Johnson, Jeremy (Mechelle) Johnson, Chandler (Mallory) Johnson, J.R. (April) Kilgore, Amanda (Dustin) Asberry, and Kesha (Gordon) Crawford; 22 great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; brother, Randall (Marylou) Prater of Spencer; sister-in-law, Hazel Holland; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12, at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Danny Lee officiating. Burial will be in Hitchcox Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. CST and Monday, January 12, 2026 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CST.
