Richard Harvey Walker

Richard Harvey Walker, 80, of Pikeville, Tennessee, formerly of Brandon, Florida died of natural causes on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

He was an amazing husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, and a beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He was also a rock to many and loved his own stubborn streak. Richard had a love for the mountains of Tennessee, moving here 22 years ago with his beloved wife of 57 years, Elsie Jo Walker. He had a love for his family, guns, feisty spirit, race cars, and his many animals. He was a man of few words with a great sense of humor. To know him was to love him.

Richard is preceded in death by his son, Lewis Walker.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elsie Jo Walker; five children, Allison Walker-Harrison, Ella Hosea, Elsie Walker, Dennis Walker, and Lisa Gonzalez; seven grandkids; 10 great-grandkids; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
