Thomas O’Connor
Thomas O’Connor, 22, of Pikeville, Tennessee died Monday, October 14, 2024.
He was of the Baptist faith. He attended BCHS and worked at Ques. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He loved his children, family and friends. He lit up the room with his personality and cared about others deeply. He was a talented soccer player and enjoyed playing other sports. He also loved jacked-up trucks.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Renee O’Connor and Thomas F. O’Connor; mother, Marjorie “Margie” O’Connor; aunt, Christina Moraga; grandfather, James Nunley; and brother, Dalton Stockwell.
He is survived by his children, Oaklynn and Rowan O’Connor of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; parents, Anthony and Jamie Goforth of Pikeville; siblings, Marguite Infante of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Tabatha Cardin and Dustin Minton, both of Pikeville, Zac Minton of Nashville, Ryan Goforth of Pikeville, Wesley Minton of Rutledge, Tennessee, Ricky O’Connor of Greenville, Tennessee, Alexis Hernandez of Boynton Beach, Florida, and Rozey Brown and Devonte Brown, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandmother, Peggy Nunley of Dunlap; aunt, Dawn Smith of Pikeville; uncles, Thomas O’Connor, III of Charlotte, North Carolina, Allan Nunley of Dunlap, Stephen Nunley of Chesnut Mound, Tennessee and David Nunley of Pikeville; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 20, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Adam Holloway officiating. Burial was in Sequatchie Memorial Gardens.
