Mildred McDaniel
Mildred McDaniel, 58, of Spencer, Tennessee, died Friday, October 17, 2024 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, surrounded by her loving family.
Mildred was a very loving and caring person and was beloved by her community, co-workers, friends and family. Her smiling face will be deeply missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Margaret Caudill; in-laws, Truman and Juanita McDaniel; brother, Riley Caudill; and brother-in-law, William (Scotty) Blaylock.
She is survived by her husband, Dwayne McDaniel; sons, Anthony (Audrey) McDaniel and Michael (Christen) McDaniel, all of Spencer, Tennessee; grandchildren, Troy, Crixus, Skyler, Evey, Braden, Amelia, Truman, Cody, Connor, Charlie and Ares McDaniel, all of Spencer, and Maylin McDaniel of West Liberty, Kentucky; brothers, Joe (Monica) Caudill of Whitesburg, KY, Tom (Brenda) Caudill of Whitesburg, KY and Hiram (JoDay) Caudill of Kingsport, TN; sisters, Sharlet Ison of Whitesburg, KY and Vel Caudill Lucas; sisters-in-law, Lisa Caudill, Whitesburg, Kentucky, Elsie Blaylock, Spencer, and Ruby (Tony) Nickles, Spencer; brother-in-law, Truman Dean McDaniel, Spencer; nieces, Amber (Joseph) Hensley, Polly (Kendall) Rogers, Kyra Blaylock, all of Spencer, Alexis Caudill and Stacey Banks, both of Whitesburg, Kentucky; nephews, Logan McDaniel of Dunlap, Anthony (Channah) Nickles of Spencer, and Alexander Caudill of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 2, at 2:00 p.m. CDT at Mooneyham Church of God with Rev. Doug Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 2, from noon-2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, make contributions directly to Putnam-Reed Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
