Richard Carric Sapp

Richard Carric Sapp, 63, of Pikeville, Tennessee died Monday, August 21, 2023.

Richard loved his children, playing with his grandkids, fishing and drafting. He was of the Baptist faith.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. “Bobby” Jr. and Pearlie Sapp.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Katrina Tompkins Sapp; daughter, Kelsey Rose Cansdale; son, Christopher Landon Sapp (Bailey Gray); grandchildren, Ayden Cansdale, Sophia Gray; sisters, Mary Ellen Whittenburg, Anna Kay (David) Tankersley, Deborah (Tim) Blaylock, Ronda (Scott) Martin; brother, Robert (Lynn) Sapp; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 25, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bruce Dunford officiating. Burial was in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers are Scott Martin, Zach Tankersley, Bobby Sapp, Casey Oakes, Robert Sapp, Christopher Sapp, and Ayden Cansdale.
