Edith Elizabeth Hinds

Edith Elizabeth Hinds, 88, of Crossville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the U.T. Medical Center.  She was born September 6, 1934 in Pikeville, Temmessee.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 27, at 2:00 p.m. at the Jennings Funeral Homes-Clarkrange Chapel with Bro. Scott Monday and Bro. Clint Kerns officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers included Jordan Colvin, Frank Waystack, Jimmy Pritchett, Joseph Compentta, Cody Payne and Destiny Payne. The family received friends on Wednesday, July 26, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes-Clarkrange Chapel.

Edith is survived by her, daughter, Lisa Waystack and husband Frank; grandchildren, Jordan Colvin and wife Liz, Brooke Grissom and Joseph, Makenzie Lauderdale and Jacob, Tyler Lauderdale; five great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Jacob, Logan, Draco and Tagen; brother, Greer London and wife Ann; sister, Ina Jean Gifford; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Hinds; parents, Wesley Franklin and Adelia (Fann) London; brothers, Clarence, John and Arnold London; sisters, Lura Belle Bales, Laura Lou Miller, Gledys Ellen Burton.

Jennings Funeral Homes-Clarkrange Chapel was in charge of services for Edith Elizabeth Hinds of Crossville.
