Marvin Roscoe Keener

Marvin Roscoe Keener, 72, of Ringgold, Georgia, formerly of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Monday, August 22, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Verdie Keener; brother, A.C. “Alec” Keener; sisters, Essie Mae Evans, Hettie Delores Watts and Melba Goolesby.

He is survived by his wife, Treva June Seals Keener of Ringgold, Georgia; sons, Marvin Anthony “Tony” Keener of Ringgold, Georgia and LeBron Keener of Rossville, Georiga; grandchildren, Rhonda Faith “Max” Keener, Ryan Alexander “Pee Wee” Keener, Alaina “Ali” Keener and Anastasia “Ana” Keener, all of Ringgold, Georgia; sisters, Margaret (Dennis) Elliott of Sequatchie, Tennessee, Bonnie (Stanley) Locke of Cordova, Tennessee, Ann Carter of Trenton, Georgia and Iva Beasley of Graysville, Tennessee; special friend, Victor Levan of Sequatchie, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, August 26, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. David Rogers and Bro. Elmer Blaylock officiating. Burial was in Keener Hill Cemetery.
