John Arnold Nale

John Arnold Nale, age 81, of Pikeville, passed away August 13, 2022 at home with loved ones by his side.   

Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 61 years, Nina Carol Hale Nale; sons, Mike (Leslie) Nale, Mark (Tina) Nale, and John David (Jill) Nale; grandchildren, Megan (Eric) Reece, Morgan (Jeremiah) Thurman, Maddie (Bradley) Sutton, Shelby Nale, John Mark (Rachel) Nale, Faith Nale, and Grace Nale; great-grandchildren, Brady, Mia, and Mason Reece, and Jeriah Thurman; sister, Gayle (Dion) Frady; wonderful aunt, Betty (Paul) Limbaugh; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.

John worked at Bledsoe County Farmers Co-op for over 35 years and served on the Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative Board for over 10 years. He was a member of Pikeville United Methodist Church, loved his family and grandkids, enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, and golfing.  

Preceding him in death were his parents, James Newton and Helen Virginia Evitt Nale. 

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18 at Pikeville Funeral Home with Bro. Darvin Oakes and Bro. Rudy Oakes officiating. Burial was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. 

Those serving as pallbearers are Mark, John David, John Mark Nale, Travis Terry, Anthony Frady, and Chris Limbaugh.  

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17 at the funeral home.
