Jerry Alden Holland
Jerry Alden Holland, 74, of Pikeville, Tennessee died November 24, 2020.
Jerry was a 1964 graduate of Bledsoe County High School and served in the United States Army National Guard. He worked as a certified mechanic at Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative for over 20 years and at Vaughn Chevrolet for 17 years.
Jerry was an active member of Mt. Crest Church of God of Prophecy, loved his family and was the best man Carol had ever met. He enjoyed visiting with friends, woodworking, and traveling.
Preceding Jerry in death were his parents Joe Foster and Velma Simmons Holland; sister, Imogene Hendrick.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 23½ years, Carol Ann Whaley Holland; daughters, Heather (David) Blair, Chattanooga, Jodie (Dan) Young; sons, Josh (Angie) Holland, Chattanooga, Allan Hannah; sister, Joyce (Wendell) Hughes; brother-in-law, Harold Hendrick; grandchildren, Alex (Jessica) Hoover, Austin and Zach Hannah, Haven, Render, Ever, and Merit Blair, Lilly Phillips, Florabella Holland; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A celebration of life was held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, at funeral home with Bro. Ken Norris officiating. Burial was in Blackburn Cemetery with military honors.
