From sparklers to firecrackers to fireworks that will light up the night sky – the Bledsoe County Rescue Squad has just what is needed to make July 4th memories. You not only get a lot of bang for your bucks, but you are helping out those who help you in emergency situations and at community events.
The Rescue Squad is selling fireworks in its facility located at 977 US Highway 127 Bypass in Pikeville until July 5, unless they sell out before then, said Clarissa Burgess with the department.
The organization’s fireworks room is open now through June 28 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and June 29-July 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. or later. If the lights are one and the bay doors are open, they are there selling fireworks.
They carry Black Cat products, plus Roman candles, 500 gram cakes, reloadables, bottle rockets, stink bombs, snap pops, smoke bombs, and novelty items. They also have kid-friendly options.
Make your July 4 and America’s 250th birthday extra special by buying local and supporting the Rescue Squad. This is their major annual fund raiser for equipment and operations.
