Hank Hankins

Clarence “Hank” Hankins, 75, of Pikeville, Tennessee died June 1, 2018.

He was a United States Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He worked over 30 years at Crossville Rubber Products.

Hank was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed spending time fishing with his grandkids at the head of the valley.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Hankins; parents, Charlie and Dora Hankins; and brother, Earl “Red” Hankins.

He is survived by children, Mitchell (Cherry) Hankins, Charlie (Joanna) Hankins; grandchildren, Kyler, Katelynn, Kimberlee, Bradley (Michayla), Brent, Savanna, and Austin; great-granddaughter, Anna, all of Pikeville; siblings, Betty Lentz of Pikeville, Claude “Cotton” Hankins of Crossville, Mary McCarver of Dunlap, Joann Essex of Pikeville, Rachel Kerley of Pikeville; sister-in-law Carlene Hankins, Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 4, at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Warren Kerley officiating. Burial in McDowell Cemetery.
