Royce Pruitt

Royce Leonus Pruitt, 58, of Pikeville went home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2015.

He was of the Baptist faith. His favorite pastime was working on lawnmowers and weedeaters. He also was a UT fan as well as a Nascar fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Gene Pruitt; and two brothers, Henry and Sam Pruitt.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his siblings, Dennis Pruitt, Ralph (Robin) Pruitt, Eddie (Shirri) Pruitt, and Elizabeth Cordell, all of Pikeville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Royce’s life will be held on Tuesday February 24, at 1:00 p.m. The family received friends on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. and Monday from 9-9 p.m. Burial will be in the Pikeville Cemetery.
