Bobby Ray Goad

Bobby Goad, 44 of Pikeville passed away on October 5th 2014.

He was of the Baptist faith and attended New Harmony FWB Church. Bobby’s favorite pastime was fishing. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Michael Goad, Sr.; and a sister, Shannon Mai Goad.

Left behind to cherish Bobby’s life are his wife, Wendy Newby; son, Michael Shane Goad, Oak Ridge; daughters, Brittany Newby, Smithville and Katherine Valentine, McMinnville; mother, Gladys Atnip, Smithville; brother, Don Michael Goad, Jr., Rockwood; sister, Lynda Fay Garrison, Mt. Juliet; two grandchildren, Jayden Newby and Ava Judkins, Smithville; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A Celebration of Bobby’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 9, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Donnie Lawson and Bro. Gary Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends beginning Wednesday from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Humble Cemetery.
