William Howard Ault

William Howard Ault, 67, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at Clark Memorial Hospital.

He served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army. William was a retired painter from Ford Motor Company in Louisville. He was a member of American Legion Post 35 in Jeffersonville and VFW in Pikeville. William was a native of Pikeville.

William was preceded in death by his father Paul Ault; mother Virginia Ault; brother Dion Ault; step-children Kenneth Robertson Jr. and Kelly Robertson.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Ault of Jeffersonville, Indiana; sons John Ault (Pam) of Lebanon, Indiana, and Gary Ault of Tijuana, Mexico.; step-sons Mark Ault (Lois) of Lanesville, Indiana, Kurtis Robertson (Brenda) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; daughter-in-law Peggy Robertson of Jeffersonville, Indiana; grandchildren Madison Kay, Hailey and Cassie Robertson, Tawny Cooper, Lily Ault; brother Jim Paul Ault of Pikeville; sisters Jamie (J. D.) Lee of Crossville, and Nancy (Bob) Hall of Crossville; mother-in-law Mae Niemiller of Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Hamilton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 30, at the E. M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home and from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. , Wednesday, July 2, Pikeville Funeral Home.
