Mickey Harwood
Mickey Harwood 78, of Pikeville died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Harwood was a 1955 graduate of Rhea County High School. He was of the Methodist faith, a Bledsoe County Commissioner, where he served as chairman, a former mayor of Pikeville, a veteran of the United States Army and a lifetime member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bradford and Ruby Harwood; and sister, Frankie Harwood.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Harwood; daughter Kim Langston, both of Pikeville; sons, Dr. Greg (Tracy) Harwood of Cartersville, Georgia and Butch Roberson of Pikeville; grandchildren, Casey Shaver, Ashley (Zac) Roberson, James Harwood, Anna Harwood, and Austin and Sawyer Landers; great-grandchildren, Tyler Young, Tate and Tucker Shaver, and Avery and Zander Roberson; sisters, Priscilla (Charlie) Corvin and Carolyn (Tommy) Kelly, both of Dayton; brother, Johnny Harwood of Graysville; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 20 at Collier Cemetery.
