Mary Edna Watson

Mary Edna Watson, 63 of Pikeville passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2014. 

She was of the Baptist faith and attended First Baptist Church. Mary was retired from both her positions at Hardees and at the Tennessee Forestry Service. 

She was preceded in death by an infant son; her mother, Ocie May Hunter; brothers, Billy Ray Smith and Jimmy Cagle. 

Left behind to cherish her memory is her childhood sweetheart of 49 years, Roy John Watson; her children, Alice (James) Treadway, and John E. Watson; her special grandchildren, Avis and Charity Watson, James B. Treadway, and Magon (Aaron) Ress; brothers, Floyd (Ellen) Smith, Lee Norman (Ila) Smith, Wayne Smith, and Patrick (Sherry) Hunter; sisters, Annette (Wayne) Blankenship and Carolyn (Lloyd) Daggett; several nieces and nephews, and many special friends. 

A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jimmy Williams officiating at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday March 23. The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
