Daniel Addleman
Daniel Addleman, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, as a result of complications of pancreatic cancer. Born September 18, 1945 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, he moved to Lakeland Florida in 1986 from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was employed by N.E. Where as a courier. He attended Springhead Baptist Church in Plant City, Florida.
He spent a part of his youth in Pikeville, where his father was pastor of the First Baptist Church. He was very close to his sons, nephews, and niece. They would visit Pikeville, spring and fall, to enjoy the beauty of the mountains of Tennessee while riding their motorcycles.
Addleman was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Howard Addleman and Odessa Addleman.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Addleman; sons Scott Addleman, Shannon (Lori) Addleman and Michael (Jenn) Shreve; daughter, Michelle Stromberg; brother Marc (Debbie) Addleman; sisters Judy (Buddy) Mitchell and Sue (Don) Redd; and grandchildren, Nathan, Shayne, Michael, Hanna and Grant.
A memorial service was conducted in his honor on March 31 at Northside Chapel at 5245 US 98 North in Lakeland with Pastor Chuck Edmondson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, in his honor, to the Williams Syndrome Association at www.williams-syndrome.org.
