Thomas “Junior” Worthington, Jr.

Thomas (Junior) Worthington Jr., 76, of Pikeville, left this world Friday, February 25, 2011 and is now walking peacefully with his Lord. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Bethel, a veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from Lay-Z-Boy and was a farmer all of his life. He was a man full of integrity who had a love for the beauty of God’s creation.

His first wife, Nell (Lusk) Worthington; parents, Jim and Sally Worthington; brother, Melvin Worthington; and sister, Helen Moody preceded him in death.

Junior will be missed by his wife, Margarett (Siever) Worthington; sister, Myrtie Lee Hutcherson; brother-in-law, Bud Moody; children, Paul (Becky) Farmer, Anetra Farmer, and Verinda (Steve) Wright; grandchildren, Kyle, Kory, and Chelsi Farmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 28, 2011.
