Tabithia Davis

    Tabithia Sharpe Davis, 95, died Thursday, September 16, 2010.

    She was the owner of Houston’s Restaurant and a member of Frawley Baptist Church. She was also a member of Pocahantas 165 for over 50 years, serving three times as Worthy Matron and Grand Electa of Georgia.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Houston S. Davis; parents, Minnie and Charlie Sharpe; five sisters and five brothers.

    Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia A. and Jerry Hankins of Pikeville; three grandsons, Keith Thomas of Rossville, Kyle and Houston S. Thomas of Pikeville; granddauther tabithia Seffron of Crossville; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand-daughter.

    Funeral services were held September 26 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Billy Dean and Rev. Dennis Boston officiating. Interment followed in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
