Ruth Ann Smith

Ruth Ann Smith, 79, of Pikeville, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the Bledsoe County Nursing Home.

Ruth Ann loved her family, was a member of First Baptist Church, and in her earlier years enjoyed crafts and photography.

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her husband, James England; parents, Tommy and Audry Kendrick Smith; brothers, Mark and J.T. Smith; sister, Hazel Smith.

Left behind to cherish Ruth Ann’s memory are her brothers, James (Eloise) Smith, Sammy (Tonja) Smith, Harold (Sheila) Smith; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3, in the funeral home chapel with her nephew Travis Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Pikeville City Cemetery.  The family received friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
