Billy Wayne Campbell

Billy Wayne Campbell, 82, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Billy was of the Church of God faith. For many years he worked at Bill Littleton Chevrolet in Dayton. He owned and operated his own trucking business. In his later years, he owned and operated Three Way Auto Sales, where he was known as a shade tree mechanic.

Billy also enjoyed singing karaoke and sitting on his front porch in the summertime. He also loved moon pies, RC Cola, and just being at home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Delpha Campbell; sisters, Anna Smith, Myrtle Smith, and Dorothy Swafford; brothers, Charles, Huel and William “Cub” Campbell.

He is survived by his son, John (Sherry) Campbell; daughters, Sherry (Todd) Pendergrass and Tonya (Greg) Lima; grandchildren, Cindra (Brandon) Dye, Breanna (Kevin) Sadowski, Sarah Pendergrass, Dakota (Allie) Pendergrass, Robert Chadwick, Haley Chadwick and Jakob Chadwick; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Drake, McKenzie, Aaylaih, Reign, Walker, Arlis and a little one on the way, Easton; special caregiver and friend, Naomi (Susie) Campbell-Davidson; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Services were held Sunday, April 28, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Danny Lee and Bro. Ronny Colvard officiating. Burial was in Iron Hill Cemetery.
