Partial eclipse over Bledsoe County April 8

A partial eclipse is expected on Monday, April 8 and will last an estimated 2 hours and 35 minutes according to the website, timeanddate.com.

The eclipse will begin at 12:46 p.m. and will be at its max at 2:05 p.m. The event ends at 3:21 p.m.

Safety in viewing the eclipse is recommended. While this is not a total eclipse, Tennesseans are encouraged to protect their eyes during the event.
