Active cases drop by 75
The number of active cases in Bledsoe County as of Sunday, September 12, was 270, according to the latest data from the Tennessee Department of Health. The number of active cases as of Sunday reflect a drop of 75 active cases since the week prior on September 5.
Of the active cases, Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) Spokesman Robert Reburn reported 19 were among inmates at Bledsoe County Correctional Complex (BCCX).
While some Bledsoe County families have indicated their loved ones were lost to COVID-19, those deaths had not been officially added to the total number of deaths as of September 12.
