James Beasley

James Beasley, 80, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Saturday, September 28, 2019.

He was of the Church of God faith. He worked for Leonard Oakes Tree Trimming Service. He retired from building bridges. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman, and loved to play horseshoes.

He was preceded in death by his wife, JoNelda Beasley; son, Michael Beasley; brothers, Willie, Mable Lee and Mac Beasley; and parents, W. Price Beasley and Layer Watson Beasley.

He is survived by his daughter, Angie (RJ) Johnson McClure of Dayton, TN; grandchildren, Jessyca (CJ) Angel of Pikeville, Dawson Delong, Jaden, Jordan and Xander McClure; great-grandchild, Rachael Angel; siblings, Mella Sue Beasley Fortin of California, Kender Beasley of Spencer, Mollie (Otis) Beasley Denton of Birchwood, Lucinda Beasley Myers of McMinnville, Lutishie (Charles) Beasley Clark of Texas, Beulah Beasley Walker of Spencer, and Price Beasley, Jr. of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Mooneyham Church of God. Burial was in Watson Chapel

Cemetery. Visitation was held Wednesday, October 2, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Mooneyham Church of

God.
