Robert Lee Hale, 84, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Manchester Health Care Center in Manchester.
He was born October 14, 1934 in Pikeville, Tennessee, son of the late William Franklin Hale & Rena (Arnett) Hale.
After proudly serving his country in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1965 as a Radarman Second Class, Robert worked for many years at the Carrier Air Conditioner Factory.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Hale of Manchester; son, Jerry Lee (Kathy) Hale of Lebanon; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Clifford Hale of Manchester; sister, Mary Yates of Spencer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his daughter – Debra Lynn Borden; sons, Roger Hale and Robert Wayne Hale; brothers, Hoover Hale, Horton Hale, Johnny Hale, and Walter Hale; and sisters, Mable Hale and Lola Hale.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, October 27, at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Lantana Cemetery.
