Treva Catherine Hankins
Treva Catherine Hankins, 76, of Pikeville, died March 5, 2017.
Treva enjoyed crocheting, yard sales, thrifting and listening to music. She was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ. She worked for 47 years at Bledsoe County Hospital and Bledsoe Nursing Home.
Preceding Treva in death was her husband, Thomas Gene Hankins; parents, Jim and Kathleen Boynton DeBord; brother and sister-in-law, Mitchell and Ellen DeBord.
Left to cherish Treva’s memories are her children, Rickey Hankins of Pikeville; Chris (Marsha) Hankins of Pikeville; Regenia Bowman of Crossville; sisters, Melba (John) Hargis of Pikeville, Grace (Virgil) Ferguson of Crossville; brothers, Leroy (LouElla) DeBord of Pikeville, Robert DeBord of Red Bank; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; a very special friend, Willis McCarver; and a host of friends.
A celebration of life was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, in the funeral home chapel with T. A. Smith officiating. Burial was in the DeBord Cemetery.
