Marion Webb
Marion Webb, 84, of Pikeville went home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2016.
He was a member and attended Faith Baptist Church. Marion was a retired veteran having served 20 years for the United States Air Force. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Throughout his military and private career, he spent time repairing medical equipment.
He was a member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Post 110. He served as a van driver for the DAV and aided veterans in getting to and from their doctors’ appointments.
Marion was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mary Webb and one brother, Lee Webb.
Left behind to cherish Marion’s memory are his devoted wife, Tommie; children, Steve (Cheryl) Webb and Susan (Howard) Dyck; grandchildren, Jared and Candice Webb, Kathleen Dyck and Hannah (Kyler) VanKirk; great-grandchildren, Tessa Jane VanKirk; Karen Webb, and Reece VanKirk; one brother, Robin (Bonnie) Webb; cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Marion’s life was held on February 6 with Bro. Doyle Ashburn and Bro. Milton Ker officiating. Burial was in the Walling Cemetery with full military honors.
