David LeAllen McConnell

David LeAllen McConnell, affectionally called “June Bug” by many of his friends, 53, was born in Sumner County, Galatin, Tennessee, on December 2, 1961, and passed away in an area hospital on May 9, 2015.

LeAllen served briefly in the United States Army. Most of his life he was a sheetrock installer. The last few years he worked installing stereo systems in vehicles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hank and Ann Abston.

In loving memory of the loving man that he was, he leaves behind Debbie Taylor, his fiancee, and her kids that loved him, of Chattanooga; a brother, Terry (Jay) Wood of Albany, Georgia; sisters, Linda (Tony) DeWind, Lori (Jeff) Quick, and Judy Rash, all of Pikeville, Dianne (Jim) Jeter of Panama City, Florida, Charmayne (Terry) Leard of Dallas, Georgia and Kelli Abston, of Petesburg, Virginia; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was truly loved by many friends.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m. Burial was in Dodson Cemetery.
