James Gordon Gore

James Gordon Gore, 70, of Pikeville, passed away on January 23, 2015. 

James was employed both with Sells Building Supply and London’s Furniture for several years. He enjoyed fishing, taking walks, and riding four-wheelers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Nellie Gore; and two brothers, Ray and Clarence Gore.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Gore; sons, James M. Gore and Elbert Lee Gore; brothers, Robert (Toy) Gore, Lee (Treva) Gore, and Elbert Gore; a sister, Martha (John) Jones; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 26, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Freddie Savage officiating. Burial was in the Beach Cemetery.
