Juanita Jean Holland Powell

Juanita Jean Holland Powell, 74, of Dunlap, died at her home Wednesday, November 12, 2014. She was a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her parents, Arlen and Ethel Roberts Holland; sister, Sadie Camp; brother, Howard Holland.

Survivors include her husband Robert Powell; son Elvin DeWayne (Kim) Powell; daughter Vernice Jean Powell, all of Dunlap; six brothers, Wallace (Sherlyne) Holland, Brents (Beverly) Holland, of Pikeville, Robert (Dorthy) Holland, Donald (Lottie) Holland, Lynn (Kathy) Holland, and Rector Holland, Dunlap; two sisters, Shirley (Dan) Raines, Dunlap, and Brenda (Gerald) Tayze, Doyle, Tennessee; grandchildren, Heslie Powell and Sarah (Josh) Parker; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Saturday, November 15 in Ewton Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Lanny Tate officiating. Burial was in Hudson Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Ewton Funeral Home in Dunlap.
