Lola Roberts

Lola Elizabeth Haston-Roberts, 80, of Pikeville passed away at her home on Monday, October 15, 2012. She was born on November 25, 1931 to the late Sam and Ruby Hale.

She was a dedicated homemaker, who worked in a shirt factory prior to her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Grady Haston; second husband, John Roberts; brothers, J.E., Luther and David Hale; and sisters, Ollie Stonecipher, Mary Smith, and Ann Cook.

She is survived and will be missed by her children, Chuck (Wanda) Haston, Steve (Margie) Haston, and Pam (Leonard) Brock, all of Pikeville; brother, Lewis (Kathy) Hale of Kansas City, Kansas; sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Grisson of Crossville and Pearl Smith of Pikeville; a special sister-in-law, Aileen Hale; grandchildren, Timothy (Darlene) Thurman, Amanda Dixon, Blake (Kelly) Haston, Aaron (Melissa) Haston, and Cody Haston; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Cameron, and Nicholas Thurman, Kayla Bedwell, Dewley, Dallas, and Daelyn Haston, Chase and Kylie Haston; several nieces and nephews; many loved ones and special friends.

A celebration of her life was held in the funeral home chapel on October 17 with Bro. Steve Haston and Bro. Gerald England officiating. She was laid to rest in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
