    The Bledsoe County Courthouse is the site for the WWII Living History display scheduled for October 19 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The display features educational talks about equipment and life in the military during that era. Displays include equipment of axis and allied forces, military encampment, re-enactors, kids corner with activities and more. This is an informative event for educational purposes for the community and to preserve the historical value and memory of WWII Veterans. B41-42S42

  • Pikeville Fire Department hosts grilled chicken fundraiser

    On Saturday, October 19, the Pikeville Volunteer Fire Department is holding a grilled chicken fund raiser from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the fire hall, 87 Municipal Drive in Pikeville (adjacent to the new City Hall). In addition to the grilled chicken, you get two sides, roll, dessert and drink. All proceeds benefit the fire department. They invite you to eat in or carry out.
