It’s almost here — the Bledsoe County Fair!
Get your exhibits ready, showcase your talents – there’s no better place to do it than the Bledsoe County Fair August 1-8 at the Fairgrounds and Exhibit Hall on Allen P. Deakins Road in Pikeville.
On Saturday, July 18, the Fairest of the Fair Pageant is being held at Bledsoe County High School beginning at 10:00 a.m. There are categories from newborn girls to Senior 60+ women, newborn to 5-years-old boys, and Miss Spectacular with two categories for newborn to 10 years old and 10 to 20 years old. Miss Spectacular is for princesses who have been diagnosed with an intellectual disability or physical disability. The deadline for entries was July 10.
The coveted title of Fairest of the Fair is for young ladies 17 to 20 years of age. The winner will represent the Bledsoe County Fair in January at the Tennessee State Fair Convention.
This year, Fox Creek Amusements will be at the fairgrounds with its rides, games, and concessions August 4-8.
The exhibit hall will be taking entries August 2 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. For a fairbook visit https://canva.link/de87siyy0xtpodb or the Fair’s facebook page. All entries will need to be picked up on August 9 between 1:00-5:00 p.m.
Come enjoy the Race TN Series – ATV Racing on Saturday, August 1 at 6:00 p.m. Gate is $10 per person with children 5 and under admitted free.
Livestock shows are August 3 for cattle at 6:00 p.m. at the fair barn; August 4 for pigs at 7:00 p.m.; and for sheep and goats on August 6 at 7:00 p.m.
On Friday and Saturday nights, August 7-8, the Outlaw Rodeo is coming to the fairground arena. Gate for those days is $15 per person, children 6-12 are admitted for $5 each, and children 5 and under are admitted free.

August 6, 4-H Chick Chain Show and Sale 5:00 p.m., Eli Tabor concert 6:00 p.m., live demonstration 6:00 p.m., Pet Show 6:30 p.m., The Kinship Band concert 7:15 p.m., card game night, 7:30 0p.m., gate $5, 5 and under free
August 7, line dancing 5:30-6:45 p.m., live demonstrations 6:00 p.m., $15 gate, $5 for 6-12 year olds, 5 and under free
August 8, karaoke 5:30-6:45 p.m., live demonstrations 6:00 p.m., $15 gate, $5 for 6-12 year olds, 5 and under free.
The exhibit hall will be open August 4-8 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
