Harvey Lee “Junie” Roberts, Jr.

Harvey Lee “Junie” Roberts, Jr., 76, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, Thursday, February 20, 2025.

He was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church. Mr. Roberts worked for Coca-Cola for eight years and worked in HVAC for over 40 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His work ethic was something to be admired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mary Roberts.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years Blendia Roberts of Pikeville; daughter, Melissa (Joel) Gholston of Pikeville; grandchildren, Amanda and J.T. Gholston; siblings, Winfred Roberts, James Roberts, Lynda Roberts, Brenda Hitchcox and Mary Ellen Pope; several nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins.

Services were held Sunday, February 23, at 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Earl Eames and Rev. Larry Underwood officiating. Burial was in Collier Cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday, February 22, from 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 23, 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.

The family of Mr. Roberts would like to thank the staff of Hearth Hospice for the special care of their husband, father and grandfather.
