Facility renovations ahead of schedule
Changes to the former Pikeville Clinic, now known as Pikeville Urgent Care, are ahead of schedule, reports Kelly Judd, director of business development and operations for Presley Health Care. He anticipates the renovations and new services to be ready by Fall, 2026.
With all the changes to the interior of the building, comes changes to personnel. Just recently, Pikeville native Tiffany Holloway Yeargan, RN CPNP was added to the professional staff consisting of Amie Rainey, Bruce Compton, and Ruth Boynton.
Tiffany graduated from Bledsoe County High School in 2010. She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, then became a Licensed Practical Nurse from TCAT Upper Cumberland in Crossville. Tiffany said she went back to school to receiving her bachelors degree as a Registered Nurse. She received her masters in pediatrics at Maryville University out of St. Louis, Missouri.
She and her husband, Garrett, have two young children. They make their home in Bledsoe County.
Before joining Pikeville Urgent Care, Tiffany was a pediatric nurse in Crossville at Plateau Pediatrics.
“I’ve always wanted to come back here and work as a pediatric nurse practitioner,” said Tiffany. “Just to be able to take care of the kids in our community, and be able to give them access to that type of care.”
She offers sports physicals, mental health, holistic healing with a wide variety of services for children. Tiffany sees newborn to 21-year-old patients.
“One of the reasons that I decided to be a nurse practitioner was actually when I was a school nurse. We were doing the telehealth visits. And just being involved in that showed me ways that I could further help these kids in the community.”
Currently, she is seeing patients Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and… So what kind of hours? So, I currently work 8 to 5 Monday through Thursday.
“I’m just grateful to have this opportunity to be here and to be able to provide care to all the kids in the community,” said Tiffany.
When the renovations are done, Tiffany and the rest of the staff hope to be able to see a lot more patients. She said they should be able to get patients in quicker for same day appointments. There are plans to have a neurologist, an oncologist, and a women’s health provider coming to the facility, in addition to the foot doctor who already comes at certain times of the month, said Judd.
Among the renovations being done, Pikeville Urgent Care is adding an x-ray room and room for a CT machine. Patient rooms on the northern side of the building are nearly renovated and plans are to start on the southern patient rooms and offices after that, explained Judd. New flooring is being placed throughout along with ceilings and lighting.
A new lighted sign has been put in place in front of the building on Main Street and the building has been pressure washed, ready for painting, added Judd.
Presley Healthcare is excited to be a part of the Pikeville community, meeting their healthcare needs.
