Monkey Cuts Lawn Service and Excavating wins Best Overall Float

There was no monkeying around when it came to choosing the best overall float winner this year for the Sounds of Christmas. Receiving the Pam McBay Memorial Award was Monkey Cuts Lawn Service and Excavating.

The truck pulling the float was covered in bright multi-colored lights from bumper to bumper. It pulled Santa’s, larger-than-life reindeer, delighting young and old as it drove north on Main Street. The Pam McBay Memorial is sponsored by the City of Pikeville. She helped organize the parade for numerous years before passing.
