Hendon and Newman arrested on drug-related charges

Timothy Brett Hendon and Erica Newman were arrested after a search warrant was executed at an apartment in the Pikeville Townhouses’ complex on Thursday, October 9, according to Bledsoe County Sheriff Jimmy Morris. This was part of an ongoing investigation by his department.

During the search, detectives recovered suspected Fentanyl, Percocet, and Hydrocodone, along with U.S. currency drug packaging and various paraphernalia used in the distribution of illegal narcotics.

Hendon is charged with:

•Maintaining a dwelling where drugs are used or sold

•Possession of Fentanyl for resale

•Possession of Percocet for resale

•Possession of Hydrocodone for resale

•Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Newman is charged with maintaining a dwelling where drugs are used or sold.

“Our department remains committed to keeping dangerous narcotics like fentanyl off the streets of Bledsoe County. We will continue to aggressively pursue those who choose to distribute these deadly substances in our community,” said Sheriff Morris.
