Fields appointed interim director, search begins for new Director of Schools

Farrah Fields was appointed the interim Director of Schools for Bledsoe County during the Board of Education’s special called meeting Monday, June 23. The Board set an aggressive timeline to hire a new Director of Schools after officially accepting the resignation of Selina Sparkman. Sparkman has accepted a position with a school system in West Tennessee.

Plans are to accept applications by July 7 and have the position filled by July 21, reports Chairman of the Board Andy Billingsley.
