Helping others as a young entrepreneur

While most 11 year olds are not thinking about starting a business and helping others, there is one who does — Gabby Franklin, a fifth grade student at Mary V. Wheeler Elementary.

In June, she told her mother, Stephanie, she wanted to start a business making specialty pens.

“I wanted something I could do to put towards my college or car,” said Gabby.
