No property tax increase for Bledsoe County

The Bledsoe County Commission  approved its July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025 budget without an increase in the property tax rate during a meeting Monday evening, June 25. The rate remains the same as last year at $2.063 per $100 of assessed value.

That is broken down as follows:

General Purpose Fund     $1.0814

Sold Waste/Sanitation Fund     $0.0995

General Purpose School Fund     $0.6595

General Debt Service Fund     $0.1913

Education Debt Service Fund     $0.0313

The budget includes a 5.24% pay increase for all county employees.
