Comptroller’s findings turned over to 12th Judicial District

The 12th Judicial District has been made aware of an investigation by the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office concerning the Luminary-Frostbite Volunteer Fire Department. The time period in question is from August 1, 2020 through November 31, 2022.

During the review period, Bledsoe County used funds from the Governor’s Local Government Grant and a Community Development Block Grant to purchase and pay vendors directly for equipment the department requested, states the report.
