City officials retain positions

Pikeville voters reinstated all four Aldermen and their Mayor Saturday evening, December 2, at the close of the Municipal Election.

 Incumbent Mayor Philip “Winki” Cagle was unopposed and received 142 complimentary votes.

All four current Aldermen retained their posts. Senia Anderson received 111 votes, Jane Humble received 118, Jeania Lansing receive 110 votes, and Dale Wheeler received 115. They were  challenged by Allen Brown and Ronald (Ron) Fields. Brown had 39, and Fields had 41.

Election Administrator Lisa Wheeler noted these are the unofficial results which will later be certified.
