Fire consumes 100-year-old home in Lusk community

One of the oldest homes in the Lusk community of Bledsoe County was consumed by fire Friday, June 9. The owner, Rebecca Poteet, was not injured but two of her pets were not as fortunate.

“When we arrived on the scene, the attic area was on fire,” said Phillip Smith with the Lusk Volunteer Fire Department.
