Ugly sweater contest and karaoke sing-off Saturday
As part of the big send off for Light up the Town-Pikeville’s Holiday Lights slate of events this weekend, an ugly sweater contest and karaoke sing-off is Saturday, December 18.
The ugly sweater contest, sponsored by Collier and Company Realty, has been moved to The Venue located at 415 Spring Street. The event kicks off at 3:00 p.m.
Michelle Collier with Collier and Company said cash prizes will be given for ugliest sweater, most festive sweater, and most outrageous sweater.
Following the ugly sweater contest is a karaoke contest held at The Venue, sponsored by Collier and Company and Morgan Brothers BBQ.
Individuals, groups, duets? It doesn’t matter, Collier said, just prepare yourself or your group and come have fun. Some Christmas songs will be available, but if you have a special song you are encouraged to bring your own music.
Collier said cash prizes will be given out at the event and everyone is encouraged to come take part in the fun, with local celebrities Albert Roberts and Billy Bridges from the Albert & Billy show judging, alongside several familiar local faces.
