Deputy reprimanded for hunting violations

A Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department deputy was issued a warning to stay out of trouble or be fired, according to Sheriff Jimmy Morris.

Deputy Chase Roberts, 30, was cited in Sequatchie County last month by Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officer Shawn Edgmon for shooting an 8-point deer on Fredonia Nature Resort Properties from a vehicle.
