Over 1000 enjoy 25th Christmas parade, lights

Pikeville was electric on Saturday night, November 27, not only because of the fantastic holiday lights throughout Main Street and downtown, but because of the energy of the hundreds of people at various events throughout the day culminating in the 25th annual Pikeville Christmas Parade.

Hundreds visited the Pikeville Farmers Market with over 20 vendors setup throughout the afternoon and early evening, while many strolled throughout town before the parade to view the beauty of hard work from many volunteers and paid groups who decorated downtown through Light up the Town, Pikeville’s Holiday lights.
