Board enters Director contract negotiations with Sparkman
Selina Sparkman, the number two candidate for the Bledsoe County Board of Education’s search for a Director of Schools last year, interviewed last Friday for the job. The director’s position became available last month as Director James Ellis announced his resignation effective September 1.
The Board voted Monday night, August 16, to enter into contract negotiations with her. Chairman Vincent Boring said the Board would have to wait 15 days to offer her a contract due to public notice laws, and a meeting was set for Tuesday, August 31 at 5:00 p.m. at Bledsoe County Middle School to offer her a contract.
