Bledsoe County Schools on hybrid schedule January 19-22

Bledsoe County Schools are on a hybrid schedule for the week of January 19-22, Director of Schools James Ellis announced on Wednesday, January 13.

This comes after two weeks of virtual classes to begin the Spring Semester because of high numbers of active COVID-19 cases in the county. Monday, January 18 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and all schools will be closed.

Parameters for the hybrid schedule, as released by the District, are below:

  • Students with last names beginning A-L will attend in-person classes on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Students with last names beginning with M-Z will attend in-person classes on Thursday and Friday.
  • In cases with family members living in the same home who have different last names, the younger student will attend in-person classes on the same day as their oldest sibling or family member.

For more information contact your individual school and see the January 21 issue of The Bledsonian-Banner.
